And if everyone works towards happiness and human flourishing collectively, the world will be a better place for humanity as a whole. But I suppose your final perspective is a good one as well.
It is hard to escape the conclusion that when a person claims to know the purpose of life they elevate themselves to a position which is impossible to defend.
That’s a thought-provoking comment, and in few cases you may be right about such person. However, if such person is a live and let live individual s/he won’t elevate his/her self above the others, for true wisdom comes with humility.
Most definitely, and through such challenges and rejection a live and let live person will learn new things. However, an egomaniac who believe to know it all won’t be able to deal with such challenge and rejection.
